About God

God is Love

He is the Creator all of life, perfect and just in all His ways. His most esteemed creation is us – Human Beings. We were made in His image and meant for an eternal life of love with Him and one another. He chose to make us and love us. He gave us the choice to love Him or not.

You may have noticed that real life doesn’t quite reflect the reality of perfect love. That is because of sin – a separation between God and His creation. We ultimately chose NOT to love God back, which invited a curse upon humanity. This curse is the root cause for every evil we see daily. Unfortunately, while we may try to be good people, we aren’t always perfect. We are either victims of or contributors to the curse.

But, God is relentless in His love for human beings. Instead of leaving us to find meaning and hope in a broken system, He gave His promise that He would eradicate the curse, but not without perfect justice. There was only one way that the loving, just and eternal God could guarantee perfect justice for His beloved people: He would swap places with them. God the Father of all Creation, would send His Son, Jesus Christ to swap places with His people, placing the curse upon Himself and dying. Because Jesus is eternal, His payment is eternal.

But, Jesus didn’t stay dead! The miracle is that He was raised from the dead by the Holy Spirit and ascended to heaven, promising to establish His new Kingdom on earth. He promised that for those who place their trust in Him, the same Holy Spirit will dwell with them and guide them back to God, restoring their hearts and sending them out to share about the coming of the King Jesus.
